It will never cease to amaze me and make me feel alive when extreme feelings are born inside this body that has been given to me to inhabit. I do not deny that there are occasions in which terrible ghosts of unsuspected evil appear and others, in which deep and contagious joys are revealed that remind me at every moment of some human experience of my own or others. And when that happens I immediately recall a phrase that I memorized when I was very young:
"Just when I knew all the answers to life, all the questions changed", phrase, words or saying (today I find out, without being able to obtain the original source) is attributed to Mario Benedetti, Uruguayan writer.
So, from time to time that are built in those words appears in front of me a vision that stuns and leaves me shocked of how fucked up it can be to live and understand the human being, which is nothing more than trying to understand myself, I guess. And today has been one of those days where surprise overcame me and emotions erupted like incandescent lava as on Mount Vesuvius that destroyed Pompeii in 79 AD.
Castillo leaves, Lula returns, Ortega perpetuates himself, Maduro negotiates and survives, Lopez in trouble, Luis Arce Morales in Bolivia, Xiomara Castro gender equity, Miguel Diaz-Canel, Asturiano (another story), Boric, and Petro Urrego wields with dignity and in the direction of the house of Nariño the sword of Bolivar.
And it was inevitable to understand once again the disgrace that reveals itself under the gross manipulation that the power groups carry out with the intention of extinguishing and devastating the minimum essences that we have left as human beings. The latest example, the appearance in the international fashion and glamor magazine (Vogue) of Olena Zelenska, wife of the actor and now president of Ukraine Volodimir Zelenski.
A crisis embraces Europe with the approach of winter and in the worst energy crisis of the last forty years, a crisis that found its turning point on February 22, 2022.
As humans, we need to condense complex ideas into a form in which they can be easily communicated. Symbols have been one of those primary ways of doing so throughout history. Because of this, politics throughout history has been sustained largely through the creation of symbols. This has made me think about how some of the complex political ideas can be condensed into symbols. And in this context, I marvel to understand in the beginning of the fifth decade of my life the profound and beautiful difference between "Portrait of Courage" (Vogue), and "Until Dignity Becomes Custom" (Francia Marquez, Vice President of Colombia).
We search for decades of our lives for the reasons that have placed us in the personal misfortune in which we find ourselves, we easily blame the external elements around us for it, and usually almost never take on our own ineptitudes and lack of effort. The energy in the endeavor of living paralyzes us at every moment, and turns life into something so difficult and unbearable that disoriented we forget the specialness of the moment that represents each beat of our heart.
This reminds me of Garcia Calvo when he wrote about life: "I am thankful to be alive, which is no small thing".
Every complex human story is intended to be built on a stage that will soon disappear as we know it and this is largely due to the psychopathic perversions of a few men and above all to the indecision of the MORE who are the vast majority not to participate.
Human frivolity and stupidity today have two names: Vogue, the former and Vogue, the latter.
We are so great that we are penetrating to the very beginning of the ALL with space observations that allow us to place ourselves a few million light years away from the beginning of the ALL, (Big Ban). But also, we are so clumsy, so impertinent, so stupid that we are leaving human life in the hands of Vogue.
One is white and thin, the other black and fat.
One is the wife of the president, the other is vice-president.
One is European, the other Latina.
One is the cover of Vogue, the second is Dignity of Colombia.
Postscript. Felipe VI, you are not moved, you are not moved, you do not recognize the historical dignity of the passing of Bolivar's sword. Well don't worry, the gas bill is coming this winter. All said, "Let him who understands understand understand".
